Boyracer

It seems odd to label Boyracer one of Australia's hottest young bands - sure, they're hot, and they are Aussie - but how can a band that's been rocking across the country for close on 9 years still be considered young?

Well, believe it. These guys have been playing together professionally since the age of 8! Starting out as the mini-boy band Boyz way back in late 2000, the guys have grown up playing to huge crowds and are as much at home on a big stage as they are in their own lounge rooms.

The 3-piece Boyz (Dean, Jaxson and Alex) morphed into Boyracer early in 2008, with the change marked by a new look, the acclaimed single Baby I'm Yours and an extended line-up. The new band has been quickly accepted by the loyal fan base with drummer Nick taking their place alongside the original members as teen heart throbs.

Boyracer's Dean features on new rap single

Boyracer singer Dean Debattista has lent his vocal abilities to the new album by Aussie rap artist Medee.

Medee's new album is being recorded at Studio 52, the same studio used by Boyracer for all of their CD's.

Medee asked Dean to step in as a feature artist on one of the tracks after Boyracer producer Trevor Carter played Medee the Boyracer single Baby I'm Yours.
